Edgar did a very good and painstaking work of replacing the rotten threshold on the backdoor. I bought the replacement threshold as I wanted a good quality hardwood item and therefore only asked Edgar to take out the old threshold and replace with the new. As the new threshold was not exactly the same size as the original Edgar had to do quite a lot of improvisational work to get the new threshold to fit. I am quite pleased with the work. The expanding foam is to stop water getting under the threshold and causing rot. It will be cut out once dried in a few hours. I would be happy to recommend him to others if they have any carpentry or handyman types of jobs ~ Sulman F

We couldn't be happier with the incredible work Edgarus did in transforming our Ikea Pax wardrobes into seamless, built-in fitted wardrobes. Our Victorian terrace presented plenty of challenges with its wonky walls and ceilings, but Edgarus managed to expertly fit everything to perfection, making it look completely bespoke. All we have to do now is give them a lick of paint! From start to finish, he was a pleasure to work with—extremely flexible, working within tight timelines to measure and install the wardrobes. His attention to detail, speed, and conscientious approach meant that every aspect of the job was completed with care and precision. He really listened to what we wanted and made sure the final result exceeded our expectations. We're absolutely thrilled with our new wardrobes and can't recommend Edgarus highly enough. We have used Edgar for various different jobs, from installing mirrors and hanging picture frames, to painting the exterior fence and installing a shade cloth on over the outside gym area. Edgar is always reasonable with his prices and does the work to a great standard within good time. We have always been happy with his work! I would recommend him for any job you need, no job is too big or little for him. Edgar did a great job of building some storage in an awkward space in my garden. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out - it’s very neat and looks great! Before and almost finished photos attached. I was a little nervous giving the job to someone I found online but didn’t need to worry - he was neat and tidy, worked really hard and clearly knows what he is doing. I also appreciated how responsive he was to messages and emails - I haven’t had that experience with other builders!! ~ Louise R

Edgar did an excellent job refurbishing the downstairs WC after it had suffered a water leak. He boxed in pipework behind the loo and at the side of the sink, ensuring future access to pipes and valves if needed, and put up a shelf. He also removed an old toilet paper holder and replaced. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable and discussed work with us as he progressed. He completed the work to a high standard and at a very reasonable price ~ Chris J

I needed some coving putting up and I found Edgar on Google. I was a bit dubious about booking someone like this but my worries were needless. Edgar arrived and gave me a very reasonable quote and installed the coving the following day. Very impressed. He worked hard and did a brilliant job. He is an 'ace' carpenter as well. Edgar recently transformed our kitchen by fitting new fascias to the existing carcasses and we couldn't be more delighted with the final result. He also re-hung an internal door and replaced the architrave, again, with excellent workmanship. He is skilled, diligent, punctual, tidy, reasonably-priced and a thoroughly nice chap to have around. Edgar recently worked on a number of renovation jobs at my flat in Crouch End N4. This included new wooden outside terracing, replacing old wooden and vinyl flooring plus other more general carpentry and handyman tasks. Edgar has done a number of jobs for us now. He built a kitchen bench unit. He has fixed a broken step with our stairs, and he has put together the shelves for a kitchen unit (which needed to be built with some edits). He is also due to build our garden fence in due course. Edgar built a cupboard, and covered it with slatted wall panels in an awkward corner in my kitchen. He also installed a TV arm and hung my TV. His attention to detail is so evident, I’d say he is a perfectionist. I’m so pleased with the outcome, it’s exactly what I wanted. We had Edgar round to replace 7 internal doors in our flat, he did a fantastic job sizing and hanging the doors and fitting new hinges and handles etc. very pleasant to work with and he did an excellent job with the new doors looking great and very nicely fitted. We are pleased with the job that Edgaras has done, in our bedroom. We wanted a unit that goes along the wall and incorporates shelves and drawers and that is what we have got. Edgaras designed a unit, according to our "wants", he ordered the wood, came along when it was delivered and, then, installed the unit. He has done a good job. ~ John F
